Stripe’s fees at cost

Stripe’s processing fees are passed through with no markup, around 1.5% for cards and 0.5% (capped at £5) for pay-by-bank. You see the full breakdown on every booking.

Platform fee paid as you earn

For Stripe payments our platform fee is taken automatically as guests pay you. For non-stripe payments we bill quarterly in arrears.

The website (£295/yr launch) gives you your own branded booking website plus a free listing on our villa sites, it’s coming soon. If you only want exposure on our villa sites, you can also advertise your property from £195/yr (earnable back through the booking engine).

No. Every transactional feature: unlimited properties and bookings, the guest portal, payment schedules, Stripe and manual payments, automated reminders and receipts are free for every user, with no per-property charges. The website tier adds a branded booking website (and a free listing on our villa sites); it includes the full booking engine which is fully integrated into your own website.

No. Your guests pay nothing extra. The price you quote is the price they pay. Unlike Airbnb and other OTAs which add 14%+ in service fees to your guests, Owners HQ charges zero guest fees.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Your guests can pay by credit/debit card, bank transfer, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. You can also record manual payments (such as bank transfers or cash) instead of using automated Stripe payments if you prefer.

Stripe’s standard processing fees (typically 1.5% + 20p for UK and EU cards) are passed through at cost and shown transparently in your fee breakdown. We don’t mark up Stripe’s fees. We also don't apply any fees for managing manual payments.

For payments made by Stripe (Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay by bank) our 1% platform fee is taken automatically during the payment process. Stripe will also take their transaction fee at the same time. For bookings that don't use Stripe we bill you quarterly in arrears.

Yes. The booking engine has no subscription — you simply stop using it whenever you want. The website tier is billed annually with no long-term contract; you keep it for the year you’ve paid for and renew only if you choose to. You’re never locked in.
